Watercolour Workshop Floribunda (1 November 2018)
Who can resist the allure of fresh flowers - from colourful and blousy, to stylish and geometric, there is a flower shape to suit every style of watercolour painting. On this workshop we will be looking at expressive, loose ways of using watercolour to capture the character and essence of a flower. You will be shown a variety of techniques, from wet-in-wet (perfect for delicate petals), to combining ink with watercolours (great for a looser, more dynamic look), and with luck, have a number of contemporary watercolour studies, and a finished painting (or two), by the end of the day.
Suitable for all levels.
Date: Thursday 13 December, 2018
Location: The Granary Studio, Saffron Walden, Essex
Time: 10am to 3pm
This workshop is one of a series of four day watercolour workshops. It can be taken as a stand-alone workshop, however, if you wish to come on all four workshops in the course, please book here for the special price of £200 (a saving of £40).
