Summer at Holdenby (2) : Abstract Watercolour Landscapes
Well, this is unexpected! Abstract Landscapes? Watercolour? Absolutely! Watercolours are often referred to as one of the hardest media to master, and whilst this may be true, their naughty (mis)behaviour allows the artist to capitalise on their wonderful qualities to create fantastic painterly marks and effects, which are perfectly suited to the wonderful landscapes that surround us. With plenty of demonstrations, and hints and tips throughout the day, you will be encouraged to exploring some of the techniques shown, and hopefully come up with even more of your own.
Working fast, and free (with lots of fun along the way), you will leave the workshop with a framed watercolour painting you can be proud of.
Suitable for all levels.
This promises to be a great day, and is suitable for all levels. Tea, coffee and pastries will be available on arrival, and a light lunch is included, courtesy of the wonderful Connies Tea Parlour.
