CREATIVE SKETCHBOOKS
Creative Sketchbooks is an ongoing series of monthly workshops exploring a range of contemporary drawing and painting approaches, specifically aimed at both beginners and experienced artists who are keen to experiment and work in a loose, contemporary way.
With plenty of demonstrations and guidance for all levels, you will be shown ways to work in a variety of styles and media, including graphite, collage, pencil, watercolours, acrylics, inks etc., and from a wide range of subject matter, both figurative and abstract.
The over-riding aim is to help you find ways to work in your sketchbooks with confidence and an enquiring mind. The result? Sketchbooks filled with scrumptious pages of inspirational ideas, that you will return to again and again. Ideally suited to artists working in alternative media such as textiles, collage, mixed media.
With a small class size there will be plenty of opportunity for individual tuition, and help in applying the techniques to your own practice.
