The objects that fill our lives have stories to tell. They may tell them by evoking memories or prompting imagination. They may have been created to specifically facilitate recollection (as in souvenir). They may be imbibed with a narrative through a shared event. They may spark a creative response.
My sculptural practice is focused on the re-presentation of common relationships, sequences, and patterns of objects and materials. By reordering, realigning and reconnecting I am able to question and re-present these relationships in often startling and provocative ways that challenge and question the received view.
