A site specific work made for 10 Days @ Winchester Cathedral, 2015

Through a process of sedimentation, thoughts and ideas solidify to form beliefs and desires that make us who we are. A handmade white linen pillow is filled with chalk dust, and laid on a bed of clunch tiles, a hard compressed chalk formed by sedimentation. Do thoughts become sedimented as in clunch, or do they blow around as chalk dust? Where are the boundaries?
