museums and galleries open May 17th 2021

Shops have finally reopened. I have to admit that I'm no rush to join the melee queuing to buy the latest 'must have' fashion item, as I have grown quite fond of my lockdown uniform of black buffet dress (I didn't even know this was a thing until last night's episode of the Sewing Bee!) and leggings.  However, I am champing at the bit for galleries and museums to open, which all being well, should be on 17th May 2021 (though it should be noted that some private galleries, come under the 'shop' category and may well already be open for business).

There were so many great exhibitions that were planned for last year, it's great to find out that most have been rescheduled for this year instead.  Here, in no particular order, are the five that I have at the top of my list to see.

If, like me, your soul is in need of some serious feeding, many of these exhibitions can be previewed online; though as great as that is, I think that there really is nothing to beat being seeing the works up close.

Whichever way you get to view them however, I hope you find something to inspire, provoke, confuse and make you smile.

Much love,
Vanda x

Oh Karen, thanks so much. I'm never sure if my mutterings are relevant, but you've made me smile and I shall continue sharing anything I come across that I think you might find interesting. Thanks again x

Thanks Vanda for the info on the up and coming exhibitions, very helpful. Such information gives me hope of being able to re-engage with the world in very different ways than has been possible during these last year or so.

Please note change of email address

I do hope all is well with you.
Love Jackie
